About the Bambu Lab AMS HT
Bambu Lab AMS HT, engineered to better dry and manage high-performance filament. It is a single-spool AMS that dries filament at up to 85 °C and feeds it straight to the printer, for the materials Bambu Lab says the AMS 2 Pro cannot dry completely (ABS, ASA, PET, PA, PC, PVA, BVOH, POM, HIPS and Bambu Lab’s carbon fibre filaments). An H2 series printer takes up to 8 AMS HT units alongside 4 AMS or AMS 2 Pro units; a P2S takes up to 4.

Which option to pick
The selector asks for your printer and how many units you will connect. These are Bambu Lab’s own ordering options; every option costs the same. Bambu Lab: “Please check ‘What’s in the box’ section below. Some accessories are included, you may purchase extra as needed.” Bambu Lab’s connection rules for its AMS units on these printers:
- H2D or H2C: one or two AMS units connect with nothing extra; three or more need the 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II (SA014), one of which is in the H2C box. See our Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter page.
- H2S: two or more AMS units need a 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter (FAZ013-N). See our Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter page.
- P2S: one or two AMS units need the Filament Buffer – P2S (SA011); the P2S Combo already includes one, the standalone P2S does not.

What is the AMS HT for?
Drying and feeding one spool of high-temperature or engineering filament at up to 85 °C. Bambu Lab says the AMS 2 Pro cannot fully dry materials such as ABS, ASA, PET, PA and PC, and recommends the AMS HT for them. Its bypass outlet also feeds TPU, TPE and fibre-filled filament.
What power does it need?
It has its own power cord rated 100 to 240 V AC, so it runs from a standard Canadian outlet.
How many can I connect?
Up to 8 on an H2C, H2D or H2S and up to 4 on a P2S, says Bambu Lab.
Which option should I pick in the selector?
Choose your printer (H2D or H2C, H2S, or P2S) and how many units you will connect. The “Which option to pick” box in the overview lists the extra parts each printer needs, from Bambu Lab’s own connection rules.
What warranty comes with it?
Bambu Lab gives a 2-year warranty on its printers and on the AMS, AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT in Canada. It needs a purchase receipt from Bambu Lab or an authorized reseller, and as an authorized reseller our receipt qualifies. Bambu Lab’s warranty statement is written for individual consumers, so schools and businesses should ask us about coverage before ordering.
