About the Filament Buffer – P2S
The filament buffer for the Bambu Lab P2S (Bambu Lab part SA011). Its function is to provide a buffering effect for the filament between the AMS and the printer. Bambu Lab: “To connect one or two AMS 2 Pro unit(s) to P2S, a P2S Filament Buffer (SA011) is required” and “The standalone P2S (without AMS) does not include a filament buffer.” The P2S Combo already includes one, so you only need this part when you add an AMS or AMS 2 Pro to a P2S bought without one.

Bambu Lab questions
Do I need it?
Only to connect an AMS or AMS 2 Pro to a P2S bought without one. Bambu Lab says the standalone P2S does not include a filament buffer; the P2S Combo does.
Does it fit other printers?
No. This is Bambu Lab part SA011 for the P2S. The X1 and P1 series use a different buffer or the AMS Hub.
What else do I need?
Bambu Lab also lists a Bambu Bus Cable (CAB035) for the connection.
