CoDrone EDU questions
What does the PD include?
Robolink's Getting Started professional development: a two-hour online course for a group of up to 12 educators.
How many drones does a class need?
Robolink recommends one drone for every two students, or one each for groups under 10. A 12-pack covers a class of 24 and an 18-pack a class of 36.
Does it work on Chromebooks or iPads?
Robolink says Blockly works on Chromebooks, Macs and Windows computers with a USB port, and Python works on Mac and Windows but not on a Chromebook. CoDrone EDU is not compatible with iPads or tablets.
What warranty does it have?
The 12 and 18 classroom packs, with or without PD, come with a 2-year warranty. A single CoDrone EDU comes with 1 year.
Do you accept school purchase orders?
Yes. At checkout, choose Purchase Order and reply to our acknowledgement with your PO, or choose Quote and our sales team will send a detailed quote. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

André –
Technology department head, Quebec
The purchase covered more than one room. Working through the logistics with the other teachers before we started was time well spent.
Deepa –
STEM program lead, Ontario
This is used by two teachers and an after-school program. Training helped us settle who would handle setup, charging, and the shared schedule.
Kevin –
Vice-principal, Ontario
We wanted staff to be comfortable before students started flying. They came back from PD with a plan for the space and the first activity.
Ruth –
Grade 9 teacher, Ontario
I liked having training included. Our group had very different levels of coding experience, so we still needed to adapt the follow-up lessons for each class.
Sofia –
STEM coordinator, New Brunswick
Our order involved several classrooms, and iDesign helped us work through the purchasing details. The teachers appreciated having training included.
