1.625″ Compression Wheels (1/2″ Width, 1/2″ Hex Bore) – Compression Wheel Kit (40 durometer)
Compression Wheels help your robot move game objects quickly, smoothly, and reliably. Designed for intakes, conveyors, and shooters, these wheels provide the grip teams need with the durability to last through build, practice, and competition.
Made from a tough custom silicone rubber blend, Compression Wheels deliver consistent performance while resisting wear over time. Each wheel now includes all required mounting hardware so you can install and start building right away.
Choose the durometer that fits your mechanism:
- Light Gray – 30A durometer (Ultra-Soft) for maximum compression and compliance
- Dark Gray – 40A durometer (Medium) for balanced grip and flexibility
- Black – 60A durometer (Firm) for stronger traction and control
VEX Robotics Compression Wheel Kits are available in 1.625″ and 2″ outer diameters, with multiple hardness (durometer) options so you can choose the right balance of grip and compression for your mechanism.
Why teams choose Compression Wheels:
- High-grip silicone rubber for reliable game object control
- Three durometers to tune your mechanism performance
- Includes mounting hardware for quick installation
